Beloved, we are so excited about what the Lord is doing in this season! We welcome you and are so happy for your visit to the West Birmingham Ensley Greensboro District’s website. What a wonderful time to be engaged in the great work of the Ninth Episcopal District! What a wonderful body of believers to do this with!

We invite you to embrace our beliefs,” We Believe Everything God!”. We are a united body of achieving believers, called to continue the work of Kingdom Building. A body that understands that we are many members, but one body joined, through Christ Jesus. We understand that we are only as strong as our weakest link. It is our mission to apply biblical principles that will reinforce our God given links and all our limbs. We will do that through prayer, rallying together, combining strength with wisdom, embracing our differences while focusing on our goal.

We embrace our 9th District theme “Encouraging, Empowering & Enabling the People”. Our focus is spiritual growth and the gift of the family. We want every church on the West Birmingham Ensley Greensboro District and every member of every church on the District to continue to grow spiritually, physically and financially. We want to encourage and empower the family. Families are the foundation of our society. Stronger families make better communities, schools and churches. The church needs to be the voice that saves the family. We can do this and more with the help of God. The old teaching the young, the strong helping the weak and the learned teaching the unlearned is still the best method to employ. Yes, everyone must help one if we are to succeed in the task of restoring family values and Kingdom Building. Can we do it? Yes, we can! Will we do it? Yes, we will! How will we get it done? We will do it with all Pastors, Ministers, Missionaries, Laity, RAYAC, and YPD’ers rallying together, encouraging, supporting, uplifting each other and above all praying with and for each other. These are prime principles for unity and the main ingredients of love. Unity and love attract, unity and love retain, and unity and love will sustain us. WBEG District is out to restore family values! With unity and love spreading outside of the walls and flowing into the streets we will help strengthen Northwest Alabama and the world for Christ!
